There are many ways to attract public attention. One is to create a sensation as did women's national team of France. Coming to duel against the defending champions and hosts Germany in their opening Group A Women's World Cup 2011, Tuesday (5 / 7), three members of the Les Bleus squad berposes naked in a German daily, Bild, issue of Sunday (3 / 7).
They are Gaetine Thiney (25 years), Elodie Thomist (24) and Corine Franco (27). All three argued that they did pose nude for the sake of attracting more spectators to the stadium as well as contentious.
Beneath the photographs is written the sentence: "Is this how we are supposed to appear before you come watch our games?"
France successfully won the first two games versus Nigeria (1-0) and Canada (4-0). Two of the three players who posed nude, the Thiney and Thomist, go score against Canada.
"The pictures were displayed with a very beautiful and I really like it," said Thiney told Bild.
"We want to create a provocation and encouraging the emergence of the debate."
Thiney also praised the hosts Germany who has twice won Duinia Cup Women's and she says her country's football is far more advanced than in France.
"Football is the women here are well developed and already go further than in France."
But, Thiney also said it was important for the French players to divert them off the pitch sensation of being successful in the field.
"We will try to grab more attention by our success," said Thiney.
Earlier, the German women national team also had to create a sensation with a sexy berposes in adult men's magazine, Playboy.
